To engage in a group conversation, typically among Baby Boomers, where participants endlessly ramble, interrupt, and validate each other’s tangential or nostalgic musings without achieving meaningful discussion or resolution. Often characterized by excessive self-satisfaction and a lack of listening.

“Karen and Marge can’t help but boomerbate for hours with anyone who will listen.”
