a usually offensive slang term used by a totally non-hip German teacher (that is actually Danish) to andother totally non-hip or shall i say cool, science teacher name miss Sloan.
The term is now used as a reversal compliment and can easily offend someone if spoken the right way, which is in a deep, smoky Mrs. koler type of talk.

If your dad is cool and he says it, he's pulling you aside to have a confidential "coaching" moment, while saving you the embarrasment of having your friends hear the whole subject.

Can also be said to someone about your own age who is being a bit naive, for example about a girl who might be bad news, but who your homey is starting to get caught up in. You might say to him "can i speak to you son" as a way of letting him subtly know he might want to talk to you because there might be something you know that he might want or need to know.

Your unsuspecting friend: "Man, I don't see why all them other dogs be saying that girl is a golddigger! She seemed nice, and very interested in me."

You: "can i speak to you son"

Usually added to a sentence that makes absolutely no since but makes it sound like its a common phrase. Over all makes everyone really confused.

I don’t want to talk about it

When someone says something that reminds you of something that is currently making you sad, and you reply “I don’t want to talk about it” but most of the times they reply with “can you please tell me?”
This often leads to people just saying “I’m fine” instead of expressing their true feelings.

Person 1: I heard you broke up with zack. I also heard that they shut down the chipotle near your house. And your dog died. Are you okay?
Person 2: I don’t want to talk about it.
Person 1: please tell me?!
Person 2: wtf.
