A virtual world in which a desperately lonely person can adopt an alter ego and live out an utterly pointless existence every bit as mundane as their non-virtual life. The "noughties" version of Dungeons and Dragons but without the trolls and orcs. A baffling and ultimately sad indictment of how people interact today.

Get the selling life mug.When you are shamed for your life decisions. These shames are usually related to your life style, your professional choices, your habits, or your social life. The shaming is usually done by someone who is already settled in life or someone who expects you to already be settled in life.
Example 1:
Single Male: "I can't believe our friend from high school is getting married. He told me after he is getting married that he plans to immediately move to the country so he can start a family."
Friend: "Friend, that is what some people do and is not unusual. I don't mean to be life shaming you, but in five years time he will have a family and you will still be in grad school trying to earn a PhD."
Example 2:
Father: "Why are you still single? Your mother is not getting any younger, and she wants grand kids."
Son: "Thanks for the life shaming, dad."
Example 3:
Mother: "Why are you still single? You are not getting any younger, and I want grand kids."
Daughter: "Thanks for the life shaming, mom."
