Practice Internet

Where new users and people inexperienced with internet culture, usually teenagers, go to get all of the stupid out of their system before graduating to the rest of the internet. Deviantart, Gaia Online, and Livejournal are good examples of Practice Internets.
Are you sure you should be posting on this forum? Shouldn't you be using the Practice Internet?

Like you forgot poland and need some wood?, a phrase that one uses when pulling something cool off in a game of Ambition, such as surprising someone with the king of clubs.
I hear there's rumors on the internets... that you just struck this round!

Internet Explorer

A waste of hard disk space with three main functions:
1)Download viruses/spyware/adware/worms/windows updates/unwanted porn/glitches/
2)Download Firefox
3)Uploading all of your private information and getting hijacked by everything it downloads.
It seems to be a lot better at the first than the latter.
If internet explorer wasn't integrated into windows, i would delete it.

internet culture

n.
the culture arising from the increasingly ubiquitousness of technology in our everyday lives. Though said to have been coined by Al Gore in the 20th century, this term has recently gained widespread notoriety in popular culture and academia with the emergence, and in the end acceptance, of social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and even the archaic myspace.com. Internet culture arguably first took root through America Online and its popular instant messaging service, AOL Instant Messenger, in the early to mid 90's and refers most simply to a culture in which human interaction predominately occurs via non tangible means. Opponents of this movement, Neo-Luddites, have argued that the decrease in vis-a-vis correspondence is a dystopian harbinger of globalization.
Person 1: OMG! cheezburger is the greatest thing ever! LOL, lolcats are sooo cute!
Person 2: Sweet Jesus, I hate internet culture.

Internet Creeper

Typically a man (but let's not generalize) who sits on his computer (probably in a family members basement-apartment which he refers to as his lair) and frequents social networking sites for the sole purpose of creeping innocent internet browsers. Chatroulette is the #1 virtual gathering ground for internet creepers.
Imagine a boring night at home. You log onto chatroulette for shits and giggles and what do you see? Penis aka Internet Creeper.

internet offriender

Someone who sends and accepts friend requests on social networking sites, such as Facebook or Myspace, to and from people they have not met and do not actually know in person. Repeat offrienders, who have no problem flirting with the dangers of the World Wide Web, may further act upon these actions by meeting with said "friend" in person.
Girl: Who's that girl who's all over your wall lately?
Guy: Her? That's Sally.
Girl: Where did you guys meet?
Guy: Uh...we haven't.
Girl: What? You are such an internet offriender!
