The mother-in-law to a person who is residing with the paternal side of the family. If the male partner is residing with the female's parent(s) then the male undertakes the woman's role and addresses his mother-in-law as his lai lai.

Lai

Lai is a young girl that so so so beautiful inside and out, cool like she's "rocky-yow-rock" and the other kind are soft-hearted and nice, smart the way she has, HOT, creative and the funniest ever! She has literally a weird and can't explain humor and she's a different person. Mostly are depressed like suffering from pain but, "Oh I'm pretty so nevermind hmm!"
