Pinemere Camp

An overnight camp for jews even though half of the staff aren't jewish. Basically all you do there is drink chlorine water and scream songs. Even though the bathrooms never work and there are 3 showers for 20 girls you end up coming back year after year because it is so amazing. Every meal is accompanied by screaming songs and loud cheers. Half the cheers don't make sense but you know every word to them. And buying a new lake toy is so much more important than having running water. You never actually get to do activities because of lightning protocol. Half the time the staff doesn't know what is going on, but you always have a good time. There is never a bad moment at Pinemere Camp

Pine Forest Camp

Pine Forest Camp is a camp located in the poconos. the camp is amazing! and the bunks are great although there are always terrible counselors. the hottest guys are the high senior tens of 2011 and the hottest girls are a mixture between varsity 2 and 3 and lodge two of 2011. if your looking for a place to go for the summer pine forest is where it's at. but make sure your cool before you come because the people are very judgmental. the only bad thing about this camp is that if your looking to hook up, you can't. key staff will always catch you in ted's so be careful.

As Defined by John Schmor, PhD: Camp is Failed Seriousness. To the extremes on both sides usually defines certain aspects of camp. It is not ONLY in relation to Gay Sensibilities, but it plays a heavy part in what camp is recognized as. Mind you, not only Gays can create camp nor are they the only ones who recognize it, it is merely an easy way for Gay sensibilites to be defined because we must hide ourselves from society to the length that we can only bring out those innermost feelings in a "campy" scenario.
