Carlo

Carlo, Italian for Charles, origins from the Germanic "Karl", whose etymology is supposed to lie on the root carl ("male", "man", "husband"). The "Carolingian" Frankish dynasty success during the early middle-ages contributed to its diffusion and makes it a common name for Monarchs of European nations/confederations and European royal Dynasties member (f.e. Hapsburgs, Stuart and Bourbons all had their fair share of Charles).

In Northern Italy the devotion to the Milanese saint "Carlo Borromeo" supposedly contributed to the spread, while more recently the beloved Milan Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini and the famous tutor and animal cage-fighter Carlo Proserpio have increased the popularity of the name.

Carlos, whenever I look at him no matter how sad or angry he manages to put a smile on my face, idk how a person can just do that with no effort at all. When I look at him, he reminds me of this song's lyrics: "I wanna be yours." I wanna be yours, "Got the music in you, baby, tell me why?" From Apocalypse , "I got my eye on you." From Yes to Heaven. He always has a smile on his face, but when no one is looking, he is always in deep thought. I have no idea what is bothering him, but I hope it stops bothering him.
