A phrase with two meanings:
1) When the writer(s) of a geek franchise introduce backstory, characters, rules, lists of information, and other continuity details that are intentionally vague, contradictory, and unresolved. The intent is to provoke fan wank and other arguments while always having the carrot of "this issue, we find THIS out!" to dangle in front of fans. Mainstream superhero comics run almost exclusively on this.
2) When a blogger or other editorial writer does an in-depth analysis of a creative work radically counter to the assumptions of its fanbase in order to provoke outrage and fan wank. Usual tactics include "over-analyzing" fantastical elements (e.g. "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex"), unflattering interpretations of the themes, and otherwise presenting valid arguments why the story does not logically work.

Get the Queer baiting mug.jail bait is when a underage girl is interested in a older man she wants to have sex with or date and she has all the guy stuff about the woman of his dreams, these young girls can even look older than girls his age like if shes 13 and hes 24, she could look more than a 21 year old he wouldn't date because she look too young. and she seduces and won't leave him alone until she has sex with him like he's a trophy piece and don't care if he get lock up, knowing he will and she won't lie to the police or the court system like prosecutors and judge so he will get away with it even if she done it for someone else before, so he wouldn't go to jail but did it to him who probably really loved her., but they don't have to always look more grown, they can just be the most beautiful girl he ever saw for and see the potential in her when she grows up. sometimes it just be about sex, relationships could start or marriage depending on the girl...but young girls just want to party and have fun. and not interested in settling down early but will lie to you so you will have sex with them and act like the perfect girl so you took advantage of her youth so she can keep on looking good in society and get more people to date while you hung out to dry , hated or kill or lock up in prison and go through the worst punishment ever. and when they grow up they hide it to death knowing how wrong they are.
