South Tacoma Way

The street in Tacoma, Washington where most of the hookers and prostitutes congregate. South Tacoma Way is near McChord Air Force Base and Fort Lewis, two of the nation's largest military installations. As such, it sports the largest adult entertainment district in the Pacific Northwest, a sprawling metropolis of porn shops, strip clubs, and streetwalkers.

Southern Baptist

Currently, the largest protestant denomination. They believe the following:

1.The scriptures (Bible) are the inerrant Word of God.

2.Trinity (ONE God in 3 persons, who are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit)

3.Salvation is by grace alone. (You cannot work your way to heaven)

4.Once Saved Always Saved (That is, you cannot lose your salvation)

5.Man's nature is sinful.

6.Baptism by immersion. Baptism is a picture of your salvation and it does not save you.

Well, those are some of the basic fundamental beliefs that Southern Baptists have.

Southern Baptists go by what the Bible says alone.

A crude, satirical cartoon show on Comedy Central, created in 1997 by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. South Park shows a day in the life of 4 foul-mouthed grade schoolers and the townsfolk of a white-trash, redneck mountain town. The show is notorious for being one of the very first mainstream cartoons geared directly towards adults.

The show is currently running into its 9th season, and was also made into a movie, entitled South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.

South Africa

South Africa enjoys the dubious distinction of having the world's highest crime rate, as the nation's government and security control has virtually collapsed since the introduction of majority rule in 1994.

Given a choice between working as a KBR contractor in Iraq and getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars versus going to South Africa in 2010 for the World Cup, you'd be better off going to Iraq. You're less likely to die, and at least you'll go home with more money than when you left. At least in Iraq, the security forces are marginally less likely to kill you than the insurgents, whereas in South Africa, you are three times more likely to be a victim of crime at the hands of the police than at the hands of a civillian.

South Florida

An area inhabited by people mostly from the North-East. People born down here can't stand the snow bird (tourists) and people from the NE (ESPECIALLY THE NEW YORKERS!) Generally a pretty interesting place to live as there are many different cultures to explore. Aside from the native South Floridians and people from the NE, many people come from numerous Carribean islands. Since the 1970's, it seems like half the population of Haiti as moved here in an attempt to escape from hell on earth. Besides all the various cultures, South Florida is well known for its exciting night life. From West Palm Beach down the the Florida Keys, any night can be filled with fun. Miami is the largest city, however, one can see that from northern Palm Beach to the southern border of the state is essentsially one giant city. Problems include horrific housing pricing and rampant crime. It is generally not a very pleasant place to live, and many tourist do not seem to understand this. Also, although Florida is called the sunshine state, it is the victim of often horrific weather. Since South Florida can be classified as tropical or sub-tropical, it receives almost daily thunderstorms during the summer, as this is "the wet season" (winter is the "dry" season). Florida as a whole is often the target of hurricanes, most notable in 2004 when over 3 major hurricanes striked within weeks of eachother. Related to that, South Florida was also hit by hurricane Katrina, though it was much weaker then before it hit New Orleans. The most recent destructive hurricane was Andrew, which caused over 2 Billions in damages. South Florida has a small season change. The leaves are always green, and the main change is that the temperature drops a few degrees from November to March, basically giving South Florida only two seasons, Summer and Fall. All in all, there is much money to be made in the area, if you can deal with its numerous problems year round.

I have lived in South Florida here all my life, and im not the only one who agrees with all this!
