When people play the claw machine and drop the claw in a terrible spot they will call it rigged. If you line the claw up well you can still win from it. For claw machines with more expensive prices in them, they have payouts rates, payout rates are how much money people need to put in before the machine lets you win, if there is something that costs $200 dollars in a claw machine then obviously it will be rigged but it will let you win once enough money is put in that the owner is making a good profit. But the claw machines with the cheap stuffed animals inside are rigged but the payout rate will be very low, so you can win probably at least 1 in 10 tries.
