"Swingrich" is a CPOS* masquerading as a swinger/polyamorous person.

Definition coined by commenter LMcGuff on SLOG (Dan Savage's blog), 1/19/12, in reference to Newt Gingrich's ex-wife's revelation that Newt approached her asking for an open marriage after having an affair with his current wife for several years.

A portmanteau of Newt Gingrich's surname and the word swinger, meaning "A CPOS (Cheating Piece Of Shit) masquerading as a swinger/polyamorous person." Newt Gingrich had asked his second wife for an open marriage or divorce six years after it was revealed he had an affair.
