Any person who is a descendant of african people. A person of color. A darker person who is not caucasian or white. derived from the word Moor without any religious significance. A mooreno person can be any skin tone and of any nationality.

Tasha didn't consider herself African American because she was born in England, she preferred to be called mooreno.
Jason called himself mooreno because black was a color and his skin color was closer to light brown.

Jose was a mooreno puerto rican.
