A Tudor Era ghost who had a wife involved with the French Revolution, or some shady drug dealing.

Person 1: Oh yeah, Humphrey Bone is my favourite character in BBC Ghosts.
Person 2: Who was that again?
Person 1: You've got to be kidding me Dave. Seriously?

Bone Cobbler

The most venomous type of snake in the universe. The potency in a single drop of the venom has the power to decimate Jupiter 5 times (or half of your mother). The only thing that can kill this creature is a wild boar on copious amounts of French cocaine, or an extremely buttery corndog.

Guy 1: I'm going to the swamp today to go hunting.
Guy 2: Watch out for Bone Cobblers.

To cause great pain. Originally from blunt-object contusions with multiple hematomas penetrating all layers of connective-tissue, especially bone. Later generalised to indicate any pain which one finds difficult to tolerate, even heartburn from eating too much butter.
