1. a group of intellectuals, the collaborative elite of an encyclopedic website where anyone can edit content.

2. people that quickly provide vast amounts of quality information on a specific topic.
A portmanteau of wiki- from the Hawaiian wikiwiki, and –gentsia from the Russian intelligéntsia.

1. The wikigentsia made sure there was masses of sweet information online at the democracy of knowledge.

2. The wikigentsia revolutionized the accessibility of information on the internet by contributing to and steering the development of the wikis of the early 21st century.

3. Only a wikigentsia would know all that.

Per Wikipocrypha, "In the 1995 documentary The History of Rock 'N' Roll, Graham Nash claimed that the song was written for Marianne Faithfull, but he was too shy to use her actual name. The title was subsequently changed to the made up name Carrie Anne.citation needed"

When you go onto a wikipedia page, and then click on another link on the wikipedia page, and then get caught up going deeper and deeper into wikipedia.

I went to the wikipedia page for Inception, then clicked on Leonadro DiCaprio's page, then went to the Titanic page, I fell under the spell of wikiception.
