Demi-moron

A person of low intellect. The kind that watch reality TV shows, or like the band U2. A demi-moron, has a slightly higher intellect than your average moron, by about 2 extra brain cells. Word coined by radio presenter, Tommy Boyd in December 2004.

A non-practitioner of the Mormon faith, aka LDS. One who was “born” into the Mormon faith, but persists with their “sinful” habits and addictions (such as Jack Daniels liquor). Popular in the Southwestern U.S.

SS Moronic

A huge passenger-ship that was destroyed by fire in Toronto Harbor in September 1949, largely due to its stupid-a** design that used flammable materials throughout and had a poorly-engineered layout which practically guaranteed widespread devastation in the event of fire.

The burning of the SS Moronic was a serious "wake-up call" to future designers for constructing safer ships.
