A rock/metal Band that started in New Jersey.The members are Gerard Way,Mikey Way,Frank Iero,Bob Bryar,and Ray Toro.Gerard way originally did comic designs but 9/11 influenced him to put a band together.The albums so far are I brought you my bullets you brought me your love,Three cheers for sweet revenge,and welcome to the black parade.Their first song was skylines and turnstiles.The name of the band came from a book ecstasy:Three tales of Chemical Romance.

My Chemical Romance, the best band in the world, are NOT a pop-punk band.

Pop-punk bands like Blink 182 have songs like "all the small things", "first date" and "the rock show". My Chemical Romance have songs like "vampires will never hurt you", "drowning lessons" and "dead!"

My Chemical Romance songs are about death and stuff not rock shows and small things.

My Chemical Romance

A popular emo band. I refer to them as such not because they cut themselves, but in the sense that they play the "emo" genre of music. A typical My Chemical Romance listener is a 12-year-old fangirl who wears too much eyeliner and has a crush on Gerard, the lead singer, because he's "SOOOOOOO CUTE OMG!!!! <3" Another type of person who listens to them is a real emo who will cut themselves while crying about their depressing life in suburbia. Have fun being associated with these stereotypes, MCR fans!
