Nick Tobat Effect

When one cuts his/her hair and replaces his/her glasses contacts. Similar to Rachel Leigh Cook's character transformation in the 1999 movie She's All That. As a result hotness points are increased exponentially.

If a picture is taken, anyone that has the Nick tobat Effect causes the overall picture and its occupants to have a certain glow, making them all extremely attractive.

Marlon: Dude have you seen Nick? He's dancing with some engaged girl!
Peter: God damn! Its the Nick Tobat Effect in full throttle!

Boy Band Effect

The boy band effect is the phenomenon when a group of 3 or more boys of mediocre looks are hanging out together in a bar, mall, sporting event etc. When alone the boys would not merit a second glance from a nearby female but when together their averageness combines to form a cute cluster of males like that of a boy band. Works best when one guy is actually good looking. The boy band effect pulls up the ranking of looks the same way a British accent, suit, instrument or baby/puppy would. See cheerleader effect for female equivalent.

Jessica - "Lets go talk to those guys they're cute!"
Tory - "No, look closer"
Jessica - "You're right only one is cute - total boy band effect - bummer"

Someone who has always thought of Playboi Carti as a trash artist until they've listened to the Flex transition and have transcended to another level of the psyche.

"Man, Playboi Carti is just a horrible rapper... you cant even understand him!"
"I hear you bro, but listen to Flex off of his self titled album Playboi Carti."

* 4 minutes later...*

"That transition was fucking crazy bro, I felt my soul coming out of my body!"
"For real bro, thats what you call The Playboi Carti Effect."

N. A theory describing a situation in which an individual commandeers a conversation, only to immediately make that conversation exceedingly boring.

Professor: "Let us now examine the Renata Effect. Notice how this group of five people were initially discussing the very interesting topic of the difference between a chode and a taint when one of the individuals aggressively hijacked the topic at hand, only to begin telling a mundane story about the rate at which certain traffic lights change."

Basically when people hate on you for being honest or forthright with your opinions. You stand by your principals no matter what, this can often be misconstrued as having no regard for the feelings of others, but in reality only shows integrity and sincerity.
