V. To undermine with combined effort. To combinedly undermine. The use of disparate back-stabbing tactics by unrelated groups that together have the effect of ganging up on one person or thing.

A play on "comb over", a nerdy hairdo.

- The far right and far left distaste for Netanyahu combundermined his efforts at reelection.

- He thought this girl was a sure thing. But her clingy roommate, the sudden rain, and the fact that he threw up on her shoes combundermined his plans to take her home.

- The scientist's hopes at a Nobel Prize were combundermined by breakthroughs in several other fields.

Commandant Spangler

Played by Daniel von Bargen, he is the strict and ruthless commandant at Marlin Academy in the TV sitcom Malcolm In The Middle. He has only 1 eye, 1 hand (later 0 because Francis accidentally chops off his remaining one), and is paralyzed in his right leg.

Commando Phase

The commando phase/commando era is when a person, usually after being in a scandal, ghosts their social media- this could mean deleting posts, removing profile pictures, or simply not being active. Most people go through a commando phase at least once in their lives before reinventing themselves.

‘OMG Ally just deleted all her posts…’
‘Didn’t she just cheat on her girlfriend?’
