An Indie Chick is given this name by the music she listens to, her clothing choice and her lifestyle. These Indies are usually into drugs but are not hardcore enough to go past alcohol, weed and shrooms. Seeing that they constrain the nature of woman they will not wear a bra. They are feminist and have conversations that are over philosophical. They listen to music that is not signed to big names and labels because it makes them different. And they will say or act like they do not care but in all reality they want attention and care very much. They are very picky about who they friend and are either bitches or nice people.

Damn that Indie chicks boobs are all over the place with no bra, and why is she listening to Nathan Morris?

Pretty much the new scene kid, but lazy, and kinda worse

the idea is to spend a lot of time doing your hair and choosing your outfit (like scene) but instead of looking like this, you want to look like you slept with your hair wet.
They will Pretty much eat anything pushed out by Urban outfitters up (See Hottopic 2.0) except their so indie they'll steal it and hide it in their designer purse.

In about 9 months, people will hate the Indie trend as much as they did scene.
