It describes a catastrophic moment where poor decisions, influenced by overwhelming intoxication, lead to major consequences—whether it's losing relationships, jobs, or any semblance of control. It’s named after the idea of "going off the rails" in a way that’s so extreme, it’s as if everything you’ve built up until that point is wrecked in one reckless night.
