the south will rise again

A rallying cry used by Confederacy enthusiasts who believe the southern United States is superior. Often, those who use this phrase believe the American Civil War was "about States' rights, not slavery". In fact, the Constitution of the Confederacy was nearly word-for-word identical to the US Constitution, but actually *restricted* States' rights by requiring every State to be a slave State.

Furthermore, there was no "Southern identity" in the United States until abolition became a major political issue, and rebel states saw slavery as more a matter of property rights, not State's rights. The States' rights issue was invented by modern Southern apologists; no real historian takes it seriously.

In short, this is a slogan for southerners who believe they should "take pride in their heritage" even though their heritage includes a legacy of horrifying behavior.

My buddy Jeb told me it's not racist to say "the south will rise again", but I know better.

A term used by hardcore southerners in reference to former power the south had in the mid 1800's. Thought to be racist or redneck by most of the non southern persuasion it is actually a term that has come true in some sense seeing that The south is, in our day in age, a cultural, industrial and economic power. Cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, Charlston (one of the busiest ports in the country), Jacksonville, Mobile, and Montgomery are all cities of industrial and cultural importance. This Phrase is often represented in unison with the confederate battle flag and associated by the ignorant people of non southern descent (aka northeastern folk) as being a symbol of racism and biggotry, a common misconception as the civil war was not about slavery, but states rights; thus making the confederate flag a symbol of states rights and their sense of independant identity.

The South will rise again.

The best high school in the whole world. The high school has an amazing student body and staff. Some of the amzing staff include Mr. and Mrs. Puddy, Rope, Ruiz, Mitsi, Blane, Cia, Smith, Baclig, Elliott, and Leonard! They are all super duper amazing and we all love you guys!
The student body is very active and they have a wonderful choir and band program. The football team isn't that great but we love them anyway and we make up for them with lots of spirt! The basketball team is pretty awesome. We went to Arco in 2009! The cheerleaders are ok, if they were louder. Our Link Crew and Student Government are amazing and do everything and more. The swim team is boss and has some sexy chants.

The characteristics of the student body include, amazingness, sexyness, spritness, and bossness.

We have a pretty awesome band - just saying. They win everything. Well, 5 out of 6 grand supremes, they couldn't not give us all six so the spirt award went to someone else...
Overall, an amazing school.

If you don't hit that damn final, someone else will

As we live our lives, we study, make friends, hit finals, fall in love, run the table, strive for greatness, and just enjoy life's ride. We may learn many facts in life, but if we can take just one important fact from life it would be:

"If you don't hit that damn final, someone else will!"

There's no saying in life that has more truth to it. You can't argue with this great fact of life hence why it is becoming one of the most famous friggin' sayings in our world today.

Here's what it all boils down to idiots. "If you don't hit that damn final, someone else will" is very simple. If we were to put it on the friggin' scale of simplicity, i'd say it's a 9.872. Just think in your mind If I don't hit that damn final, someone else will. Meaning, If I can't hit that damn final, and i'm relying on my partner to hit the damn final, but their relying on me to hit the damn final, then neither of us is gunna hit the damn final and we're gunna lose the friggin' game. It's that friggin simple morons, ya know.

P.s. The DAMN is a vital part of the famous saying!
