Back hand smile

A Back handed smile is when somebody smiles without actually showing their teeth or fully grinning. People typically use it when they're too ashamed or self conscious to smile. It is typically used by actor Wyatt Oleff during photos with fans or just in general. It looks incredibly forced and awkward. Its practically smiling yet frowning at the same time.

Movie prop smile

A fake smile usually used by depressed people.This smile is similar to a real smile but is really not.the reason for the use of movie prop smiles is because depressed people dont want to let anyone know that they are depressed and as a depressed Male I put on this smile every day and I'm probably going to regret it someday.When I have to put on the smile is when I cant handle the bull shit anymore.I myself usually put it on even in front of friends and family but really inside see have a whole that is getting deeper and deeper and what hurts me and many can relate is even the smallest of insults when your depressed hurts alot its kinda like getting shot in the torso with a glock 19 with strong armour but when you are depressed it's like getting shot with a 5 p90 rounds at you but the more depressed the person is the more bleak the movie prop smile. Even after depression (if they get out alive)will still use the smile as depression will take away and slaughter your emotions in cold blood and eventually the depressed person will kill themselves in cold blood as well
