A smelly, brown sausage that started in Italy, unfortunately the sausage was removed from the country after it began to give people diarrhoea. The smell of a Cariss was horrifying, it would of smelt of rotting fish and Tortilla Chips mixed into one, This was another reason why it was evacuated out of Italy.

to bust one's carbs is to be taken out of one's element; to be taken down a notch; to have one's (natural) high be ruined.

Most likely originated as a backlash to the Atkin's craze. Carbohydrates are actually a GOOD thing. So if someone "busts" them, that would be bad.
