Nerd Bashing

Nerd Bashing is the unfortunate activity society enjoys today, though it started back when the Media started making its discriminatory propeganda broadcasts, mainly targeting "emos," Communists, and the main focus on my little article: "Nerds."
While people say it's all their fault, I disagree otherwise. Nerd bashing, among other minority prejudice, can take place in the following forms:

Physical
-Shoving
-Punching
-Kicking
-"Stuffing in Locker" as portrayed in movies.
-Anything related to physical abuse
Emotional
-Insulting
-Teasing
-Social Rejection
-Related forms

"Be nice to nerds. Chances are, you may end up working for one." Bill Gates at his Graduation.

"I have always been against society's "popular image" and "social structure." Democracy, unfortunately, can't do anything without violating it's constitution to strongly enforce anti-discriminatory laws. Only a strong Socialist-like movement can promise equal rights to not only the majority, but to also the minority, in which nerds are included in it. Nerd bashing is wrong and should be outlawed beyond the workplace and into typical society, as well as the other in the minority" -Me

C'Nerd

Literrally "cool nerd", also meaning friendly nerd. Someone who studies hard but still has time to have friends at school.
Heard from a six year old when asked if she was a nerd.

MOM: Julie, you study all the time, are you a nerd?
JULIE: No, mom! I´m a C'Nerd, kids like me.
MOM: C'Nerd?

Steve still collects comic books at thirty years of age. This is because of the fact that he is a freaking nerd ass.

nerd appeal

1. A measurement of how attractive something would be to a nerd or geek.

2. Others (nerd or otherwise) who are attracted to nerds are experiencing the nerds' inherent 'nerd appeal'.

1. Wired magazine tries to have a lot of 'nerd appeal' as it caters to its technophiliac market. They talk about lots of shiny, complicated gadgets.

2. "That kid in my math class is really smart - maybe I should ask him out. Mm."
