Someone who resonates with you on purpose, ideas, creativity, or mission, without the expectations or intimacy of traditional relationship categories.

Origin: Coined in 2025 in LinkedIn article “We Need a New Word for This Kind of Relationship.” The term blends “kindred” (soul-aligned, similar in nature) with a soft, open ending (“-ra”) to evoke connection without defining it too tightly.
