Noun: a group of American Revolutionary War reenactors. Usually known for not following the plan of battle or events, they tend to bumble around the camps and battlefields, showcasing their ineptitude as compared to the noble and professional British Line.
The American forces at Fort Ticonderoga we're their typical ineffective Bumbling of Doodles. They painted lines on the ground to tell them where to go.

Originally used by the British as a wartime song, "Yankee Doodle" was used to mock colonists, calling them what we'd call "dumb country bumpkins", "Doodle" meaning "foolish" and "Yankee" to describe the area they were from.
I use it as a derogatory term for a hillbilly that pisses me off. A real life example is: "Here I am, unable to get this job because some dumbass Yankee Doodle fuck is the manager's cousin."
To me, that's a war reference as well because if I'm pissed off that much, it means I'm fighting a battle. Considering where I live, the Yankee part fits too.
