Typically, an middle aged man whose butt has grown sideways versus outward. A dad butt can typically be found in khakis with pleats. The largeness will only be found in viewing from behind and not a sideways glance.

His {dad butt } was quite obvious from the wideness of his butt versus the roundness.

dad gum

Modification of the term god damn. Comes from the midwest, as near as I can tell - my grandfather (an Illinois native) used to say it a lot.

Note the term is always used as an adjective, and NEVER as a verb. So you can have (day) a dad gum toll booth attendant, but you don't dad gum the toll booth attendant. The only exception to this rule is that "Dad gummit" is a suitable substitute for "goddammit"

dad beer

light, generic, cheap beer that middle-aged men (dads) buy. refered to as "dad beer" when consumed by 20-something kids who still live with their parents, who are either too poor to buy the good stuff, or (in most cases) they just ran out of it and want to keep the party going.

"hey, we're all out of jagermeister, but I've got some dad beer in the fridge if you want some."

An over-large bite (bigger bite than is socially acceptable) that someone takes from your food when "trying" it.

So called because Dads are the main culprit, but this can be applied to anyone.

"Hey can I try your sub?"
"As long as it's not a dad bite"
