productive procrastination

A form of procrastination in which you refrain from doing other work by productively wasting time on only a part of the work you are already doing.

In other words, you are procrastinating by doing work while doing virtually no work.

Boy: What are you doing?
Girl: I have just spent the last hour making my math homework look pretty and neat instead of doing my English homework.
Boy: Wow, at least you're working on something.
Girl: That's productive procrastination for ya.

Productivastinating

(Verb) When you resort to doing chores or something productive besides what you should be doing. A productive procrastinating.

Background: I typically find myself doing laundry, the dishes, clipping my fingernails, and/or basically any chore or task that I wouldn't do any other time (like on a Saturday) other than the night before I have a project due or presentation to make.

I found myself productivastinating until 11pm the night before my midterm, but damn my apartment is spotless.

Ghost producing

Ghost producing is most easily defined as the production of instrumentals for an already alleged hip hop producer who needs someone else to make his beats to rap over. Ghost producing is most easily relatable to "Ghost writing." In which a writer writes lyrics for a rapper to spit. Nonetheless this is all usually kept in secrecy unless stated on the albums credits.

"Kanye west bought beats from Madlib, but hes already a producer."

"Yeah, Madlib's ghost producing."
