Tween

A girl from the age 10-13. This is the age where they grow out of toys and get into boys and makeup. These girls often have self esteem issues and have lots of drama in their lives.

Tween 1- That girl over there is sooo lame!

Tween 2- Yah totally! She has like NO make up on!

Tween 3- You guys are so unsympathetic! I ran out of lipgloss!

Tween 2- OMG! Thats like so horrid!

8-14 year old's. Generally female. Trying desprately to be a teenager but still a child. Spends on average 1-2 billion dollars a year. A product of celebrity influences. Support celebrities such as Hilary Duff, Lindsey Lohan and Delta Goodrem.

Nearly all females in the tween age group. Use slang such as 'lyk' instead of 'like' 'h8' instead of 'hate', ect.

Tween

an unfair label for any person who is between the ages of 8 and 12/13. it is an insult to be called a tween. if a person is above the age of 11 they should be refered to as"young adult" or just plain teens. most tweens are labeled as being to young for being a teen, but too old for being a kid, although they act like it. thats bull cause all they want to do is be old enough to drive a car so their parents will stop giving them a hard time. REAL TWEENS ARE THE PREPS WHO LISTEN TO POP AND LIKE PINK AND TEXT TALK MORE THAN NECCESSARY. the other 12/13 year olds who play it straight and dont really fit in anywhere are tyically the cool ones so dont mess with them.

REAL TWEEN: omg i cant wait to listen to the jonas brudas l8er!!!

To be tweening it one must gave spent over 23 hours on any given game in under two days. This phrase can be used to mock, however it can also be used to describe one's own actions.

Did you hear about Eric? He spends his weekends tweening it.

Or

I just spent my entire holiday tweening it on Borderlands the pre-sequel.

Or

James : You're such a bangout Andrew!

Andrew: Nah, I'm just tweening it.
