Too Weird to Live Too Rare to Die

The infamous quote from Hunter's Finest works "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." In both the movie where Raoul Duke Played By Jonathan Depp, and in the book; Raoul Duke the main character utters/thinks the famous line as a farewell.

*Camera Pans onto Raoul Duke's Samoan Attorney is boarding the plane*

Prospective mothers who opt to have an elective caesarean section rather than give birth vaginally. The women who make this choice are usually thought to be of higher class and wealthier. The choice for a c-section is made because it's thought to be more convenient as well as less painful and distasteful.

Victoria Beckham and Britney Spears are two celebs who are too posh to push. Can you blame them? Being all stretched out down there sounds kinda awful.

too smart by half

To be "too smart by half" (also common is "too clever by half") is to be too smart for one's own good, meant either literally or ironically. As an idiom, it is usually sarcastic. The phrase has a wide range of potential uses; for instance, it can mean:

1.) Something so complex that it's self-obfuscating.
2.) A seemingly clever action that is in fact foolish.
