Sophisticunt

Term used to describe an over-educated female who takes herself altogether too seriously. Typically attributable to East coast English majors and chicks who quote poetry and compare others to obscure historical figures in conversation.

Often spotted sober in wine bars, shopping for pant suits, and reveling in their college days when they were surrounded by other "intellectuals".

"Ever since Wendy got her PhD, she's been a real sophisticunt."
"That sophisticunt at the end of the bar just called me a French name after trying to buy her a drink."
"Damn, that sophisticunt really takes shopping for pant suits seriously."

Urban Sophisticate

A sophisticated person that employs the urban experience with impeccable taste worthy of the highest class. This person exudes style and culture and effortlessly demonstrates this ability through quintessential forms of expression. Although some may envy them, most are generally attracted to their presence as they have no time to harness jealously, envy, or misgivings towards others. Their outlook is positive and therefore they tend to garner respect and gain success.

No example needed. Others know who they are. The title of Urban Sophisticate is earned and given, never claimed.

sophistidork

combination of sophisticate and dork. a high class nerd. this is the type of person that is really into abstract art, indie pop, and beatnik culture. they are outsiders, but by choice, perhaps unlike the typical dork who would like to be accepted but just can't help that he is different. unlike a regular dork, who generally feels somewhat ashamed of being an outsider, these people relish in it, and actually look down upon everyone who is not part of their group.

sara thinks she his better than everyone because she's into these things that she considers to be anti-mainstream. she looks down on everyone else. total sophistidork.
