Used to describe a person who is extremely patient and resilient. It is not to be confused with "The patience of a saint," which is usually (but not always) associated with being a pushover.
The phrase comes from the character Job in the Bible, whom Satan practically used as his personal plaything. But his faith never faltered despite the numerous contrived misfortunes that plagued his life.
People who work in customer service or in educational settings must have the patience of Job if they can still function as people after so long.
When someone rushes into an attack on Fortnight and exposes the position of the team, resulting in death, other players will say “Just a have a littlepatience”
“Niall just have a little patience”
“Just hide in a bush, have a little patience”
Hannah Patience is a person perfect in every way. She is beauty, she is grace and also hilarious. Hannah Patience takes things seriously but not too seriously and values her time.
What someone demonstrates when dealing with a really naive or uninformed user (customer), constantly going over the same point, and the user still not getting it, and yet still manages to get through the request.
This is often the case with users of technology or software programs submitting the request to support teams.
Support: "Yes sir. As mentioned already 4 times, it is in the lower right corner, by the send button"
User: "Oh, sorry. My bad. I was looking in the wrong place. Thank you for your User Patience."
