2. Skillfully dodging any acknowledgment or credit owed to an Asian original.

"Did you see Tom's parkour version of that origami swan? Looked more like a crumpled post-it."
"Every time I hear someone say they 'invented' an existing Asian trend, I think, 'Ah, classic parkour!'”

Parkour Vision

A perspective on the world inspired by the art of movement, parkour. After training Parkour for a time, traceurs begin to see the obstacles of the world as opportunities. Instead of seeing a railing and a wall, they see a vault and a wallpass. Eventually this “Parkour Vision” can effect other portions of a traceurs life, and they begin to see other obstacles as opportunities. It is being creative and truly adapting to the environment and the ability to see unique and efficient movement opportunities in the environment. In a sense it can become Parkour ADD.

As the traceur walked through the city he could not ignore his Parkour Vision, as it was too over powering to disregard.

Parkour Jam

An event where parkour practitioners (traceurs) gather together to 'jam', or do parkour. During one, everyone meets at a particular, set place, and jams it out there, and it can sometimes be followed by food and drink, or some form of sustenance, as the day has progressed and energy has been spent and needs must be replenished.

Traceur 1: "Dude, you coming to the Jam today?"
Traceur 2: "Of course, man! i wouldn't miss a Parkour Jam for ANYTHING!"

Traceur 1: "Brohammad! You coming to the Parkour Jam today?"
Guy: "Brobi-wan-kenobi, i couldn't do parkour if my life depended on it."
Traceur 1: "That's cool, there are always a few people tagging along just to watch because they aren't cool enough to do parkour."
guy: "Alright, Sweet!"

PARKOUR PARKOUR

A term said by many (usually idiots) when they see a person practicing parkour, or when they themselves execute a maneuver that could, theoretically, be utilized in parkour. One possible origin is an episode of The Office in which certain characters decide to create a video of themselves attempting to do parkour. at one point, one of them exclaims "HARDCORE PARKOUR" just before attempting a complicated movement. It is not certain if those who use the term are making fun of it, or are, in fact, impressed. (the former is the more widely believed.)
NOTE: avoid using this term at all costs, because the people practicing will give you a disgusted look and go somewhere else; it's a big red flag saying "I'm a douchebag!"

Doing something simple, like walking, hopping a fence, or standing up, cooler and more intense than anyone else.

Person 1: Dude, did you see him hop that fence, then sprint off the wall?!

Person 2: Yeah, that was some serious parkour shit
