piggyback-purchase

Refers to merchandise that you pick up for someone else while shopping for your own items, either because this other person is unable to travel to the store himself, or because he is not a paid member of the big-box outfit where his desired items are offered, and so he has asked you as a member to obtain the items for him at the warehouse's bulk-package discount.
I don't buy enough household consumables to justify the $89-per-year membership-fee that Sam's Club charges, so I just piggyback-purchase them through the large family down the street.

purchase review

An essential part of any shopping trip which takes place when one has caught their breath towards the end of the trip, it is to simply look back and asess exactly what goods they have purchased with their cash, merely for their own benefit and maybe who else is with them.

This usually takes place on the platforms of various train stations pending on where the trip has taken place.
Josh: 'The Train ain't comin till 17:39'

Wilson: 'Oh no that is almost seven minutes away! what ever will we do in that time?'

James: 'Time for a purchase review.'

All is fair in tennis and beer purchasing

A well-known saying that has been used to describe instances of tennis/beer-related activities since the early 1700’s.
Person 1: I can’t remember how much more beer I owe you for our tennis games.
Person 2: somewhere between $9 and $5 million dollars.
Person 1: that doesn’t seem fair

Person 2: All is fair in tennis and beer purchasing. That’s the saying.
