Grafting

UK and Commonwealth slang meaning to work hard, most commonly associated with trade-work such as bricklayers, however can be used for any situation in which someone is working hard for something.
1. Did you see John earlier? Mate, he's proper grafting today, he hasn't taken a break all day.

2. Look! Sam is chatting up that girl, that's the third one today. I reckon he's trying to get her number.

Grafted Valor

Someone who has entered the military (or any other branch) just so they can brag about it online, they practically have joined the military to chase for either internet clout or just clout in general. There are other types of people that actually do it for the sake of financial gain while also believing they're immediately superior just for barely joining in the military.

To them, it's not about serving in an actual war and fight for their country as they're just focusing on have some cringy forced fame out of it.
Person: Dude that guy Francois keeps bragging to people over on gmod on how he's in the navy.
Person 2: Sounds like grafted valor to me.
