A term of great excitement or happiness. If something good goes your way, it is very chip. If something negative happens it lacks chip.

The man who carries this name into adulthood with full pride and ownership most assuredly has both the strength of ten men and the mind of a champion. Verbally spar with this man at your own risk: he is kind-hearted in his own friendly, proactive jabs but will return verbal volleys with unmatched speed, creativity and ferocity.
