R.A.B.

Since the release of Rowling's Black family tree (auctioned off), it has become more and more probable that the mysterious R.A.B. is Regulus Arcturus Black. It just fits. However, you gotta be suspicious of this, because Rowling never makes anything so obvious... but who else could it be? I suppose I'll believe this theory, but something tells me we're probably in for a surprise.

... R.A.B. is probably Regulus Arcturus Black, Sirius' younger brother, who was killed at the age of 18, presumably by Voldemort himself.

Since the release of the last Harry Potter book, we know that R.A.B. stands for Regulus Arcturus Black, brother of Sirius Black. R.A.B. removed one of Voldemort's Horcruxes from its hiding place.

r.a.b

The person who took the real horcrux in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth in the series of seven books. As of now we do not kow who r.a.b is for sure, but fan speculation is running wild that it is Regulus Alphard Black, Serius Blacks' younger brother who used to serve Voldermort.

I personally think that r.a.b stands for two people, with 'a' standing for 'and'
