A harsh reality that many people come to the United States in order to start over and live a better life by having freedom, social equality, better education, and money, but yet for most people who come to this country, this dream will be impossible to completely achieve until several generations later, assuming they have a family with children, because of limited resource access and education, poor understanding of the social norms that most people in America actually follow, and distrust of immigrants in some parts of the country.
Pema and her family moved to America from Nicaragua in the hopes of starting over and help her children live better lives than what they had in their homeland, but they found it was exceedingly difficult to live in the U.S. because of the differences of America’s social norms compared to Nicaragua’s social norms and difficulty getting a job and finding decent housing. They are experiencing the American dream paradox.

Blonde, great smile, big breasts, firm ass, 18 years old and great at blowjobs. Truly the pinnacle of beauty in the Land of the Free.

Anyone born with the name Jacob and/or the last name Johnson. The most American name there is. Usually from a strong bloodline and generational wealth.

All you killers on your killing sprees
(Come on) a massacre's the new American dream
(Come on) and all the kids on the murder scene
A massacre, the new American dream
A massacre, the new American dream
Fed lies since the day I was conceived
A bastard son, a rebel, now look at me
Went from homeless to your TV screen
How's this for the American dream?
Feed pills to society
Give you a gun, and now there's a killing spree
I've given up on America's racist agenda
I'm fucked up from prescriptions and antidepressants
Massacre
Generation Y
Generation why are we
Why are we so casual 'bout these casualties?
all you killers on your killing sprees
(Come on) a massacre's the new American dream
(Come on) and all the kids on the murder scene
A massacre, the new American dream
In every church, school, and synagogue
Virginia to Littleton, when will it stop?
Turn on the TV, a nightmare or dream?
On every station massacres all I see
Massacre
Generation Y
Generation why are we
Why are we so casual 'bout these casualties?

The American Dream®, though it used to mean something, has long since become a symbol of consumerism, corporatocracy, and, quite frankly, bullshit, to a large portion of the more critical population.
Well I'd like to tell you all about my dream, it's a place
Where strip malls abound and diversion's mere moments away
Where culture's defined by the
Ones least refined
And you'll be left behind
If you don't fit in
It's all distorted
In americana my way
Well my dream has come true
My vision has come true
Now give me my cable, fast food, four-by's, tat's right away
I want it right now cause my generation don't like to wait
My future's determined by
Thieves, thugs, and vermin
It's quite an excursion
But it's okay
Everything's backwards
In americana my way
Well my dream has come true
My vision has come true
I'm a product
Of my environment
So don't blame me, i just work here
My rights are denied by
Those least qualified
Trading profit for pride
But it's okay
Everything's backwards
In americana my way
My nightmare has come true
My nightmare has come true
Yeah, it's all coming true

Dude 1: Why does everyone hate me
Dude 2: maybe you should stop working a mediocre job only so you can afford driving a pickup truck, eating fast food, and sitting on your ass all day.
Dude 1: No way, dude. I'm just living The American Dream®
