Emo

A poseur, someone who has followed the latest trend of pop-punk style bands that have been given the label 'emo'. Always wear the same as each other (tight jeans, tight tops, glasses, leopard print, converse ect), always listen to the same bands (the used, funeral for a friend, panic! at the disco ect), always have the same hair (dyed black or blonde, floppy emo fringe with layers AND/OR extentions ect).
A FAD - as soon as it goes out of fashion emo will never have existed and chavs can go back to being chavs like they were before polka dots came back to 'new look'. After all who was emo before emo became fashionable?

Most people on Myspace, people at emo gigs e.g falloutboy, ANYONE ANYWHERE wearing above items.

emo kids fucking suck at life. just because someone is depressed, have suicidal tendencies, or cut themselves does not mean they are in the emo scene. emo kids have have tainted everything for people who actualy suffer from depression and do cut themselves. they do not self-mutilate for enjoyment they do it as a control issue as they feel they have no control in their life and the physical pain is all that they can feel at that time as they feel empty inside. they don't do it for attention as emo kids do or to fit into a scene that has some of the most god awaful music(ie. blood brothers). fuck emo kids up the ass with the knife they use to cut themselves with.

emo - verbalize that they are deprssed, hate life and try to show their cuts to the world with a saddened look to their face
depressed person - don't verbalize anything, hide their cuts and act like nothings wrong

cool emo: a kid who likes wearing clothing that he wants to wears , whether it be black or blue or green.doesnt want to have friends but has a select few people he hangs out with. doesnt care what other people say about him. has a real hobby other than writing in some gay ass journal. probably plays a guitar or another instrument. likes a good band whether it be deth metal, emo, punk, or classical.not afraid to admit he got that slayer shirt at goodwill.

gay emo: an emo that wears excessive makeup, black hair dye, only listens to sences fail and AFI.constantly complain about how much his life sucks. always looks out for emo chicks to go out with.

COOL EMO: dude, wazzup. did you go to that awesome zepplin concert a week ago? i fuckin cheered them on the whole time dude!

GAY EMO: hi... i went to that AFI concert and cut 2 cuts that only went 1 millimeter in my skin. im so badass i sat there and cried the whole time. plus i made sure to complain that my life sucks

A subclass of music that is overly emotional (and not really emotional i.e. "posers"). The members of the band dye their hair black, wear extremely tight girl-jeans, comb the hair over one eye, wear wool scarves, and wear shirts with very stupid designs.
Known for their emotionalness, extraordinary ability to think their life sucks no matter what, hairstyle, and wearing all black.


EMOS ARE NOT ROCKERS/METALHEADS/GOTHS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.
They are often confused simply for wearing band shirts and all black.
goths hate everyone, emos hate themselves.
rockers listen to rock, emos listen to emo crap
