A derogatory term used for French military equipment. References the joking tendency to drop their weapons and surrender the moment anything happens- never fired (didn't get a chance to) and dropped once (they dropped the weapon when they surrendered).

Person 1, walking up to a gun store counter: "Let me see that rifle."
Person 2, behind the counter: "This here is a genuine French military rifle. Never fired, dropped once."

A form of response indicating eternal dislike and rejection of an idea or of something offered. It communicates that not only will one refuse the object or concept in question at that singular point in time, but that one will always counter with denial.

Hindi Never English Ever

A phrase said and written by Tamils in protest of making Hindi the official language of India after independence from the British. This phrase was first started by Sage Chackravarti Rajagopalachari.
They protested because Tamil is a Dravidian language and Hindi is Indo-Aryan, so most Tamils understood English better than Hindi.
Hindi and English eventually both became the official languages until 1965, when English was removed.

I’m unsure why they say this cause I’m not them but something that has to do with dignity and being an asshole 🤷
