Me Too Thanks

Originated from /r/me_irl, this phrase is used when you see a post/comment that you agree with and/or can relate to a lot. Occasionally you will find large comment chains with 98% of the comments being "me too thanks", and sometimes when it gets absurdly long, mods might join the chain

Thanks Dad

When somebody either gives you information or advice you don't care for, or you are somehow wronged due to peculiar circumstances, you say "Thanks Dad".

When someone says: "You shouldn't put granola bars in the toaster" and removes them, you say "Thanks Dad"

A stray frisbee from a nearby game strikes you. You state "Thanks Dad" to nobody in particular.

the pen is mightier than the sword

it means the pen is a better weapon than the sword because its smaller and more manueverable. also you can fill the ink tube with poison and stab someone with it for example, in the neck. its better for sneaking up on someone, or for use in small spaces.

B) Phrase used to express appreciation towards someone whilst simultaneously belittling party A's affection for said Grandfather.

Noun: An American holiday that was originally founded to celebrate the taking over of the Native Americans. It is now an excuse for people to eat way too much, get fat, and remind themselves of how embarassing their family is.

Girl1: Thanksgiving is a dumb holiday.
Girl2: Why? You get to eat as much as you want and watch everyone else get fat too!
