A small wooden stick usually carried in a plaid shirt or jacket, and often can be found on the floor of a pickup truck. Rednecks often chew on these to prove themselves as men, or to attrack a redneck mate.

Also can be used to fool people into thinking that you are not drunk

Officer: Sir have you been drinking tonight? Your truck was all over the road.
