When one apologises to another, typically one of African-American origin, and promises to either 1. change what they did, or 2. not do what they did again, the second person would use this phrase to make sure the first understands that he doesn't have power.

"I'm sorry sir, I won't shag your wife again."
"Damn straight fool!"
