Atheist

An atheist is, at the simplest, not a theist. A theist is someone that has a belief in a god or deities, an atheist is someone without those beliefs. To say atheism is a belief system is comparable to saying bald is a hair color or abstinence is a sexual position. There is really nothing more to the word than this. An atheist is without a belief in a god or deities.

No one ever provided convincing evidence to him that any gods exist, so to this day he remains an atheist.

The difference between satanism and atheism: Satanism is a religion, Atheism is the lack of religion. It shocks me how so many people on here have mistaken the two. And just because someone is atheist doesn't mean they are so because they believe in science alone.

I am atheist because there are things in the Bible that I don't agree with, such as its take on homosexuality. I also want to be able to read whatever I want, including stuff that may have so-called "witchcraft" in it.

Atheist Cupcakes

Cupcakes who do not believe in 'god'. They don't refuse to believe, they just find there is evidence. (For the record, They are just as delicious as regular cupcakes, they just don't have similar beliefs.)

atharv

Often born on the 22nd of every month. When found in the wild they often playing tennis against others of their kind. They worship computers as a god and Bill Gates as the one true prophet. When faced with an Atharv of the opposite sex they tend to 1v1 in call of duty. Who ever wins becomes the Alpha mate and the loser makes them a sandwich. In captivity, they tend to exhibit rudimentary speech skills repeating the phrases "See Me Swag". Top scientists have yet to figure out what this means however they think it has somthing to do with his colony of fellow peers. They tend to live in Carl Jrs eating their chicken sandwiches. When in approached in the wild do not make eye contact. This is considered a threat and will result in a duel of "lego mindstorm". the winner becomes the alpha mate.

Atheist-One who does not believe that God or gods exist. That's it. That's all there is to it. NEVER i mean fucking NEVER judge a whole group of people because of what some of them believe. Yes, some blindly condemn religion. Yes, some are just angry, angst-ridden teens. Yes, some say they don't believe but inside actually do. And yes, some are confused and don't know what to believe, or are just scared to. But some athiests actually CARE about the truth and have done research and personal reflection to come to a personal conclusion based on tons and tons of thought. Also, NEVER assume that you're right! No matter what you believe. Even if someone honestly believe something completely ridiculous to YOU, keep that to YOURSELF. Judging people BEFORE you really know them is parallel to racism, and people can NEVER be judged as a group. Some athiests are conceeded assholes who are so smug cause they believe they're right. But some athiests have considered the possiblities of higher powers and have actually TRIED to believe in greater enlightenment through God. I have my beliefs and that has NOTHING to do with my personality. I can have fun. I can use common sense and rationality. I think about consequences. I think about other people's feelings. I know that my reasons for this disbelief may offend you, so i KNOW that i have to keep them to myself unless asked to say why. People, you have YOUR beliefs of what you think is right. That doesn't mean you have to bring it upon other people, even if you THINK you're doing the right thing. Everyone has their reasons for thinking something, but someone's belief in their own personal TRUTH cant tell you who they are. Please, people respect each other. That's all the world needs. Respect and common sense.
Accept minor flaws, accept human imperfection, and accept people's identities. I'm not perfect. I KNOW there's a possibility that I'm wrong. Maybe some people just need to hear that.

1: Alright, man. Do whatcha gotta do.
2: Say you wanna come some time? Just so you can see what I beleive?
1: Sure, why not? I might be atheist, but who knows? Exploring the possibilities may find something that appeals to me more. It would be ignorant to just assume without personal thought that there is no higher power.
