S.O.S. ( Shiney Object Syndrome)

Shiney Object Syndrome: is wide spread in women throughout the world namely America, it is a need for Bling, shiney and sparkley objects to adorn their bodies with, such as clothes, jewelry, purses, cell phones and just about any and all fashion accessories!

I can't walk through the mall without having to stop every five feet because of Michelle's S.O.S. ( Shiney Object Syndrome) , she catches all the sparkle and bling with her peripheral vision and has to stop at every store!

A.W.S. (Amazon Withdrawal Syndrome)

An ailment, typically suffered post-holiday, by chronic online shoppers who have become conditioned to finding packages gracing their porch upon their arrival home. The sudden down-turn in deliveries can result in negative physiological events. Symptoms can include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, malaise, night terrors, random trembling, and/or a bout of the vapors. The condition has been known to be exacerbated by the sound of delivery vehicles and ringing doorbells.

Janet was relieved when her doctor diagnosed her as suffering from A.W.S. (Amazon Withdrawal Syndrome) and prescribed a treatment regimen, but understood she knew she would always be known as a "parcel junkie".

Self-Appointed Saint Syndrome

(Abbreviated SASS) A state of mind in which the sufferer (the Self-Appointed Saint) patronizes others, under the belief that they helped those people attain some sort of salvation. Although it's similar to God Complex, SASS is different in that sufferers use an unnecessary amount of compliments and gifts to patronize their victims. This makes the victim feel as they are below the Self-Appointed Saint, and thus makes the Self-Appointed Saint feel like they are of an elevated status compared to others.

Person 1: Even though I said no, John gave me his old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Now, he keeps inviting himself over for dinner every week and makes me hang out with him everyday after work.
Person 2: Sounds like he's suffering from Self-Appointed Saint Syndrome
