When you go to the bar and none of your drinks are on you. Usually happens unexpected. If you go to eat afterwards, usually ur meals not on you either, unless "your night" stops at the bar.

I had my night when I went to the bar and my friend treated me to all my drinks. It continued at Denny's when someone paid for my plate.
