Development Tourette's was once considered a rare and bizarre syndrome, often seen in Computer Programmers and Software Engineers. Most often it is associated with the exclamation of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks while engrossed in an especially crap piece of code. Usually sufferers are unaware that they are actually talking outloud.
An annoyed programmer with Development Tourettes will often be found randomly swearing and screaming at their computer, in such a state of rage that they will not realise they are saying anything.

Get the The Devil's Tango mug.A devil dog is a member of the United States Marine Corps. It originates from a statement attributed to the German High Command, in remarking on the determinedness of the Marines, to the effect of "Wie sind die Teufelhundern ?", which means "Who are these Devil Dogs?"
The Marines have taken the comment as a compliment to their fighting ability, and refer to their comrades as "devil dogs": "hey there, devil dog" is a friendly greeting between Marines.
