faces of death

A largely fake video compilation from the 70's and 80's that supposedly shows peoples deaths and other weird shit caught on camera. In fact, the guy who made the movie admitted the only real things were the animal slaughterhouse scenes and the woman jumping off the building, and that he himself played several of the supposed victims.
Dumb ass college kids think faces of death is the most hardcore thing ever.

death metal

Subgenre of metal that is mostly characterized by heavier detuned riffing and complex rhythmic compositions diversifying itself outside the blast beat ridden thrash metal predecessors. Vocals changed over from the raspy throaty vocals of thrash to gutteral roars. Early influences include Hellhammer/Celtic Frost and Death (considered one of the first death metal bands). Later death metal bands incorporated detuning from standard tuning (for their guitars and bass guitars) for a heavier sound as well as influences from jazz/fusion for multiple time signature changes, start and stop tempo changes etc.

Death Knight Syndrome

This is the elitist attitude World of Warcraft players get after playing the Death Knight class for too long.

This attitude comes primarily from the Death Knight's ability to cause massive amounts of damage with little player effort. Soon the player realizes that he causes far more damage than everyone else & eventually concludes that he is a better player. In reality Death Knights are just over-powered, and everyone knows it.
Death Knight Syndrome at its finest:

One night in a Heroic Naxx raid...

John (Death Knight): Hey, this warlock in blues is *only* doing 2400 dps, can you boot him from the raid or something?

Me (raid leader): He's here on time every week & pays attention. Plus he's a nice guy.

John: Seriously, this free-loader is draggin' us down, we might not get epix... please boot him.

Me: John its fine! stfu & relax, not every class can /faceroll to 4000 dps like you.

Kill Death Ratio

The Kill Death Ratio, Commonly Referred to as K/D, KDR or Kill/Death, is the average rate of the amounts of deaths you need per kill. For instance, a KDR of 1 means that your number of death equals the number of kills you have. If your KDR is lower than one, then you have more deaths than kills, and vice versa.

Summary (may require some mathematical understanding):
If 0 < k < 1, or log(k) < 0, then you are a n00b.
If k > 1, or log(k) > 0, then you are a good player.
(k is your Kill Death Ratio)
