1) The right to have bear-like arms

2) The right to own a firearm

3) The right to shoot a bear and put its arms on the wall

4) The most confusing thing in the world

1) Damn! Halloween is so much better now that I have the right to wear bear arms. I'm going to scare everybody!

2) Martha, I'z goin' a shoot me a crocodillio or a deer for our dinna' cause I gots the right to bear me some arms.

3) Since I have the right to bear arms, I might as well mount this petrified bear on the wall.

4) What were our forefathers thinking when they gave us the right to bear arms? Maybe they never thought it was possible for something this vauge to be misinterperated.

I know, right?!

All of the other definitiions were missing one technicality that made them wrong. This expression requires and exclamation mark following the question. This statement is used when you are completely engaged in the topic of converation and couldn't agree more. To denote the proper meaning, a question mark should not be the last symbol -- this is not a direct quetstion and is strickly rhetorical.

Party #1: Blah, blah, blah...see that over there -- I want that.
Party #2: Wow! Oh my gosh, it's perfect!
Party #1: I know, right?!

animal rights

A philosophy that suggests some or all animals have the right to possess their own lives. Contrary to popular opinion, animal rights activists do not ask for voting rights for chickens or pigs. Rather they ask that animals not be used for food, entertainment, medical research or clothing. Some activists maintain that there is a distinction between sentient, or self-aware animals, and those with a large degree of self-awareness are to be afforded the right to possess their own lives. Animal rights is also largely tied to dietary lifestyles such as vegetarianism and veganism which abhor the consumption of meat products in accordance with the principles of animal rights.

Animal rights movements are not the same as animal welfare which take into account, the suffering of animals (and seek to prohibit it) but do not grant them specific rights

The Great Ape Project is seen by many animal rights activists, to be a step towards granting other animals the fundamental rights such as the right to life, liberty and prohibition of torture
