gone amnesty

To go amnesty is to completely lose touch with reality, no matter what the intention was, and to equate a victim with their abuser.
This phrase originates with the report Amnesty International published on August 4, 2022, which plays to Russian propaganda and has been widely criticized, including by Amnesty's own staff in different countries.
Unfortunately, even after multiple resignations of staff who disavowed the report, Amnesty's Secretary General Agnes Callamard and Advisor Donatella Rovera failed to recognize their mistakes and apologize to the people of Ukraine, thus invoking anger from the international community and particularly #NAFO fellas, who flood them with funny memes pointing at their mistake.
Apart from the report, there are multiple other examples where Amnesty went amnesty.

Razer Gaming Gear has "Gone FPS" and is no longer good for games requiring double clicking.
